Yes, we know you love your bakkies, South Africa. So we've decided to publish a list of best-selling pickups every month.
After the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa (Naamsa) releases the figures for new vehicle sales each month, we'll slap together a list of the top ten best-selling bakkies.
In April 2012, the mighty Toyota Hilux remained firmly at the top. The Chevrolet Utility climbed back to second, while the Nissan NP200 fell one spot to third. The Ford Ranger also dropped one place, to fourth.
The Toyota Land Cruiser Pick-up climbed one spot, at the expense of the Nissan Navara. The VW Amarok managed to hold onto its place at number seven.
The only new entry in the top ten in April was the Mazda BT-50, which sent the Mahindra Scorpio Pik-Up packing.
Check out our recent reviews of the Toyota Hilux, Ford Ranger and Chevrolet Utility.
