The New England Journal of Medicine has released a photograph of a 69-year-old American man who has been driving trucks for a living for 28 years.

The image clearly shows the effects of constant sun exposure on the left side of his face, something dermatologists refer to as dermatoheliosis, which as the The New England Journal of Medicine explains, is a "thickening and wrinkling of the skin".

We don't know about you, but we find the photograph frightening.

Of course, this man didn't wear sunscreen. According to Fox News, however, he has yet to develop skin cancer.
