This CCTV footage shows exactly why you shouldn't test out your cigarette lighter at the petrol station.
The clip shows an absent-minded motorist at a petrol station in Melbourne, Australia, topping up his tank. For some strange reason, he felt the need to make sure his car's cigarette lighter was working at the same time. Not the best idea.
The result? Flames. The man jumped over his open car door and ran straight past a fire extinguisher. The quick-thinking station operator shut down the pump and another motorist put out the fire with a bucket of water.
