A Yamaha rider who began celebrating his Stock 600 "victory" a lap early was left red-faced... and eventually 14th.
The video below shows Yamaha Team Italia FMI's Riccardo Russo, who had about a three-bike lead heading into the last lap of the Stock 600 in the 2012 Italian CIV race in Mugello, jumping the gun.
Russo is seen holding his hands in the air in celebration, before a number of riders come flying past. Talk about a nasty case of premature celebration...
Alessandro Nocco eventually passed Nicola Morrentino at the final corner to take victory, while Russo was back in a disappointing and embarrassing 14th.
