A young American woman managed to save her father's life by lifting a 1565kg BMW off his unconscious body.
Lauren Kornacki of Virginia walked into the garage to find her father pinned under his BMW 525i, which had slipped off the jack. Somehow, the 22-year-old managed to summon to strength to lift and move the car off his body.
"I just lifted up kind of right here and just kind of threw it, shoved my body as hard as I could then I came back and dragged him out and started CPR," she said.
Thankfully, she had taken a CPR refresher course just two days before the incident.
Lauren's father was reportedly without oxygen for over four minutes, and several of his ribs were broken. He also suffered a number of fractures.
