Yes, we know you love your bakkies, South Africa. So we've decided to publish a list of best-selling pickups every month.
After the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa (Naamsa) releases the figures for new vehicle sales each month, we'll slap together a list of the top ten best-selling bakkies.
The Toyota Hilux dropped a few sales in July 2012, but was still easily the best-selling bakkie in the land. The Chevrolet Utility managed to retain its second spot, while the third-placed Ford Ranger leapfrogged the Nissan NP200.
The aged Isuzu KB is still selling well (just seven units behind the NP200), ahead of the Nissan NP300. The Volkswagen Amarok remains stuck in seventh spot.
