CCTV footage from China shows a scared dog running into the road and causing a three-vehicle crash and a large fire.

The video shows the pooch suddenly darting across the road... right into the path of an oncoming Audi. The Audi tries to avoid the hapless hound, but ends up clipping the poor thing, before swerving into another car.

The disorientated dog gets up and starts spinning around, while the Audi flies over the road's centre island and slams head-on into an SUV, causing a rather substantial fire.

Three people were taken to hospital with injuries.

What about the dog, you ask? Well, the footage shows it scampering off after regaining composure. We can only hope it's alright.
