A motorcyle run on a Texas highway went horribly wrong when two riders in the group were taken out by styrofoam.

The incident was captured on a helmet cam.

According to one of the riders, the styrofoam was in an unsecured box on the back of a truck. The box came off the truck, shattered and released the styrofoam in front of one of the riders, causing him to crash.

A second rider went down as he clipped the first rider. Luckily for both riders, there was very little traffic near where they went down and they avoided being driven over by fellow road users.

Both riders were taken to hospital and were released with minimal injuries the next day.
