A driver in Iran escaped serious injury after his petrol tank exploded while it was being filled at a filling station.
The driver pulls into the station and the attendant starts to fill the tank with compressed natural gas. The driver of the vehicle gets out and pops open the boot to check on the tank. A few seconds later the tank explodes, blowing the driver backwards and onto his backside.
The attendant and occupants of a nearby vehicle beat a hasty reteat but return moments later to avoid any further danger by pulling the filling nozzles from the cars.
Thankfully the driver of the exploded car was able to get up and walk away with what appears to be minimal injuries.
