A video uploaded to YouTube shows a motorcyclist almost colliding with a mattress that suddenly flew off the back of a bakkie.
Even though the biker seemed to make a slight adjustment as the mattress suddenly appeared in his path, he was also extremely fortunate to avoid being toppled. A dash of luck or a bit of skill... either way, he should thank his lucky stars.
The biker then tried to flag down the bakkie, but didn't appear to be successful.
