A rally buggy has been filmed flipping end-over-end, landing on its wheels and carrying on with the race.

The incident took place during a "Best In The Desert" racing series event in the States.

Competitor No. 1841, taking part in the 1800cc class, attempts to make a small jump, but fails to land properly.

The nose digs into the sand and the vehicle flips end-over-end. Surprisingly, the buggy lands smartly on its wheels and simply drives on — even with the bonnet now obscuring the driver's view.

The buggy finished the race in 19th position overall, and an impressive fourth in its class.
