CCTV footage from China shows a pedestrian causing a truck to crash into a pole... before the jaywalker simply strolls away.

The incident took place in Ningbo, Zhejiang province. The pedestrian — we're not sure whether it's a male or female — can been seen walking right into heavy traffic carrying what appears to be a shopping bag.

Some vehicles manage to stop in time as the inconsiderate — perhaps "stupid" would be a more appropriate word — jaywalker saunters across the road.

The driver of a green truck is not so lucky, and is forced to swerve... straight into a pole. The pedestrian's response? To simply walk away...
