Most women motorists would like James Bond star Daniel Craig to be their personal motor mechanic.
Most men would be prepared to stop at the road to help Joanna Lumley change a tyre.
These are some of the fun answers in a consumer survey carried out Micheldever Tyre Services for Valentine's Day.
Women answering the online survey questions clearly feel that the 007 star would be more technically competent to deal with car servicing than David Beckham, who came second in the survey. Justin Bieber was clearly thought of as being too inexperienced as only 1 percent of women thought that he would make a good mechanic.
Suggesting that the age of chivalry may be dead, almost 50 percent of men questioned said that they would not stop at the roadside to help a lady in distress trying to change a tyre. However, 18 percent said that they would stop to help Joanna Lumley and 12 percent said Cheryl Cole. Only 3 percent of men said that they would stop to help Adele.
The survey was conducted by Micheldever/Protyre and involved an online survey of 1600 males and females.
