Tuesday and Wednesday will be comprised of the second of 2017’s two in-season tests with all ten teams running at the Hungaroring in Budapest.
The test takes place on Tuesday August 1 and Wednesday August 2, as FIA rules state that each team must give two of the four days of in-season testing over to drivers who have competed in no more than two Grands Prix says BBC Sport.
Formula 1 highlights the drivers as such:
Robert Kubica will be the headline in this week’s post-Hungarian Grand Prix test, testing in a Renault on Wednesday; his first in a 2017 Formula 1 after his recent testing in an older model. DAMS Formula 2 driver Nicholas Latifi will be driving on Tuesday.
George Russell, will test for Mercedes on both days like Santino Ferrucci, who will drive for Haas on both days as well.
Red Bull’s Max Verstappen will be in action on day one, and Pierre Gasly will be given a run on day two.
Charles Leclerc will be testing for Ferrari on Tuesday and Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel will take over on the second day.
Nikita Mazepin and DTM’s Lucas Auer are sharing the VJM10 on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
McLaren announced that Stoffel Vandoorne will test for them on Tuesday while Lando Norris will get run in the 2017 McLaren on Wednesday.
Luca Ghiotto joins Lance Stroll to replace the unwell Felipe Massa who was originally scheduled to test for Williams.
It is yet to be confirmed who will be driving the STR12 on Wednesday but Sean Gelael returns to the cockpit of Toro Rosso’s 2017 car.
Formula 2 racer Gustav Malja and Nobuharu Matsushita will drive on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively for Sauber.
