Honda is throwing around some pictures of its 'green' CR-Z - a hot, hatchback hybrid that will come in a two-plus-two format.

This layout has a small back row that will seat two children or act as a space for stowage of other light cargo like laptops and a bag of shopping.

The row can be folded to enlarge the boot space for larger loads.

Power is provided by a 1.5-litre engine coupled to a small electric motor.
