It's all eyes on Geneva today, as the world motor industry readies itself to strut its stuff at the annual pre-spring motor show at the city's Palexpo expo centre.
And while clean motoring can be expected to dominate events thanks to an ever more eco conscious world, high performance and syle must be anticipated to top the bill, too.
Among the Press Day highlights anticipated are everything from a new Rolls Royce coupe to a sportier Maserati Granturismo and Aston Martin DB9 and VW's all-new Scirocco, while Abarth will show its take on the popular new Fiat 500, Ford unveils new Fiesta and Honda displays new Accord.
BMW, Audi and Mercedes-Benz will as usual be big on new concepts of future models and tech and expext the regular selection of wacky Genf unveilings to cover everything including a submarine car this year!
Of course there will be one or two surprises too, as indeed there always are at motor shows despite the best efforts of the world press to dig it all out long before, but be sure to come back here to motoring.iafrica.com to keep up with our live updates on developments as they happen throughout the day...
