We can finally with confidence reveal the new Nissan Micra ahead of its 2010 release.

The headlights, very similar to those of Fiat's Grande Punto, are the distinguishing itemon this car. Apart from that, it appears quite bland and much less eye-catching than its previous incarnation.

The new model has shed 50kg as well, making it handle better and improving fuel efficiency. Despite this the cabin now provides more space with an all-new look and feel.

For the Micra, Nissan has developed a three-cylinder engine featuring a CVT transmission to increase fuel economy. Thanks to a stop-start system it will get around producing only 102g/km of CO2.
