French marque Citroen will take advantge of the Paris Motor Show to unveil a new addition to the DS3 range - the DS3 Cabriolet.

A unique feature of the car is that it retains the doorframes and roof support, while the soft top roof slides into the tailgate.

Citroen claims that the cabriolet will retain the hatchback's agility and performance, despite gaining an extra 25kg.

The electrically operated roof has three settings, intremediate, horizontal and total. The roof will take just 16 seconds to close and will do so at speeds of up to 120km/h.

The car maintains space for five adults and Citroen claims that the car has the largest boot in its class at 245-litres.

Continuing DS3’s personalisation options, three soft-top roof styles will be available - black, Infinite blue and a DS Monogrammed design. An innovative 3D rear light signature and original tailgate opening action add to the refinements.
