Kia has lifted the lid on a new concept to be officially unveiled in Frankfurt.
The concept — dubbed the Kia Niro — hints at a possible future B-segment crossover contender. Kia says that it will also preview an "innovative new powertrain".
The car was designed at Kia's Frankfurt design studio under the direction of Gregory Guillaume, Chief Designer Europe.
The Korean car-maker says the Niro features contrasting materials — including stainless steel elements — in compact dimensions.
The Niro is said to feature "intriguing elements" not always associated with smaller cars.
Kia says that the Niro's unveiling in Frankfurt will be used to gauge potential customer response for future showroom models.
