Renault Clio gets an update to reinforce its family ties with the new Mégane.
For one, it sits more squarely on the road and features more streamlined styling, with the lines of the headlamp modules now extending down to the lateral upturns of the front air intake.
The revised design of the rear lights prolongs the waist line across the hatch, while the uncluttered approach to the design of the central part of the rear bumper further emphasises the car's more dynamic stance. The reverse lights and foglamps are now positioned low down and to the extreme right and left of the bumper.
New interior trims are complemented by new equipment, the most obvious of which is the Carminat TomTom GPS navigation system with a screen integrated into the upper part of the centre console.
As with other Renault models, a GT hatchback version forms part of the new Clio range. Featuring an exclusive body colour, Malta Blue, the flagship has more aggressive frontal styling includes a gloss black grille, while the side sills hint at the performance of the GT version's specific suspension.
The GT is easily recognisable from the rear thanks to its twin exhaust tailpipes and lip spoiler, while inside the drilled aluminium pedal covers and extra side support for the seats, plus GT-badging for the front seats are dead giveaways.
The new Renault Clio arrives at the Geneva Motor Show.
