A video of a road rage beating in Los Angeles has led to the arrest of two men.
The incident took place earlier in June, and the men who filmed the brutal beating were criticised by some for recording instead of attemping to break up the fight.
However, two of the men involved in the fight, Edres Ramirez (27) and David Mendez (21), turned themselves over to police on Thursday. Their faces and licence plate were caught on the viral video.
The 12 June fight began after Jerry Patterson apparently cut off a vehicle. The car followed him and reportedly blocked his car.
"It just spiralled out of control, and I felt I didn't have any choice — either get beat up in my car or get out and fight," Patterson told a local TV station.
According to police, without the video, there would likely have been no case.
"We had no reports, no victim, until this [video] surfaced. So without this video we more than likely wouldn't have heard about it," Officer Ming Hsu said.
Check out the video below. But be warned: it obviously contains plenty of violence.
