A German mayor has reserved his town's trickiest parking spots for males.

Gallus Strobel, who runs the small town of Triberg, has had either male of female symbols painted on each parking bay. According to the Daily Mail, women are being encouraged to use wide, well-lit spaces near the exits of car parks. Men, on the other hand, have been given spots near pillars, which require an approach from a more difficult angle.

"Men are, as a rule, a little better at such challenges," said Strobel.

"There are also great women drivers who are, of course, most welcome," he added.

We're not entirely sure how the women of Triberg feel about Mr Strobel, but we're guessing it's not positive...
