Infiniti, a luxury performance brand from Japan, has opened a dealership in Hatfield, Pretoria.

The flagship Infiniti store offers a showroom for six cars and allows the exhibition of the entire Infiniti model range — the G Coupé and Cabrio, the EX SUV, the FX SUV, and the M sedan — plus equipment variants.

Toshiyuki Shiga, Chief Operating Officer for Nissan Motor Company in Japan, and numerous other guests, attended the official opening ceremony of the new Infiniti Centre earlier this week. The event was presented by Wilhelm Baard, dealer principal for Infiniti Hatfield.

Infiniti Hatfield and the affiliated Nissan base will be operated by the BB Group, a family business with more than 50 years experience in car sales. The BB Group was originally located in Polokwane and is headed by Arnold du Plessis.

"Infiniti has major goals for the future. Within the next years we are going to establish the brand in South Africa and extend our sales points across the major metropolitan areas within South Africa. We are happy to hold this large flagship store in the heart of Pretoria," says George Stegmann, General Manager Infiniti South Africa.

"Close to the Univerity of Pretoria and in proximity to major highways, and the Gautrain Station, we found Hatfield the perfect place for our Infiniti Centre," says Du Plessis.

"Modern, elegant architecture, a luxurious and spacious interior, our customer service philosophy of 'Total Ownership Experience', and of course the attractive model range of Infiniti — our clients can expect exclusiveness and premium-quality in every sense."
